Broad area of Research: Biological Data Mining
Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary area that combines Biology, Statistics, Computer Science and Engineering to deal with several computationally challenging problems in biological world. Data Mining is often used to explore the multitude of biological information gathered by high-throughput Bioinformatics tools.
