This is a core course for M. Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics. The course predominantly takes up a probabilistic view on classic Machine Learning approaches. Intending to keep in touch with the current advances in the field, emphasis is given to surveying recent research papers and taking up hands on project implementation where a choice is given to adopt hard core research topics or exploring the possible applications leveraging the principles discussed in the course. There is no fixed text book and the course aims to leverage a nice combination of various best resources available in the form of books, lecture notes, slide, videos, etc. The Lecture slides and other relevant reference material will be shared every week in the Institute eduserver course page.
