During my Presidency of the Interact Club of Rato Bangala, the club was awarded by the Rotary International for its dedication towards the policies of Rotary and for our philanthropic beliefs.  

 

  • Perfect Score in Mathematics Cambridge International Exam 

 

Scored 100/100 for Mathematics AS Level (9709) in the Cambridge International Examinations conducted by University of Cambridge for the A Level Program 

 

  • Winner of the Tourism Olympiad in Paper Presentation section in 2011 

 

Organized by Budhanilkantha School at the Nepal Tourism Board, gave a presentation on ‘Media and its influence in today’s life’. Among the various participating schools, we won the competition 

 

  • Winner of the Consolation Prize for Case Study Presentation in ICSQC (International Convention on Students Quality Circle) held on December 2-5, 2009 in Lucknow, India 

 

Presented a case study on ‘Improper use of English in school premises’. Among the participating international schools, we won the Consolation Prize for our intense dedication towards our research work 

 

Social Service Activities: 

  • Went to a remote village of Nepal, 44 km east of Kathmandu and donated computer, laptops and stationeries to a recently established school – An initiative of the Interact Club of Rato Bangala (21st and 22nd July 2012) 

  • Participated in the Walk for Differently abled people and collected funds as donation to Nepal Orthopedic Hospital 

  • Participation in Joint Interact Sinamangal Plantation project; Organized by Rotary District 3292, Held from 12th September 2010 to 25th January 2011 during every weekend 

  • Participation in the Blood Donation Awareness Campaign held on 15th and 16th December 2010 by Rotary Club of Patan South 

  • Volunteering in Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) festival and helping the organizers in various ways, including helping them organize a concert 

  • Volunteering in National Polio Day organized by Nepal Government;  Helped to vaccinate about 300 local  children  

  • Volunteered to serve the orphans sheltered in an organization called Saathi; Taught moral lessons to them and helped organize Sports Day  

  •  Volunteered in the 5th National Convention on Students Quality Circle (NCSQC) held in Galaxy Public School on November 26-29, 2009
